The Trolls franchise began with DreamWorks Animation’s colorful 2016 movie, introducing audiences to Poppy, Branch, and a whole world of musical Trolls with wildly different personalities. The story continued with Trolls World Tour and Trolls Band Together, expanding the universe with new characters such as Queen Barb, Viva, and Delta Dawn. With such a personality-driven cast, it is easy to imagine each Troll under a different zodiac sign. These pairings are just for fun, but some of them feel surprisingly accurate.
1. Poppy — Aries
Bold, upbeat, and always ready to lead
Poppy has the kind of energy that fits Aries perfectly. She is optimistic, adventurous, and rarely waits around for someone else to solve a problem. As Queen of Pop, she is also used to taking the lead, even when her enthusiasm sometimes gets ahead of her.
2. Branch — Capricorn
Serious, loyal, and always prepared
Branch is the Troll who would probably have a backup plan for his backup plan. He tends to be cautious and practical, but underneath that serious personality is someone deeply loyal to the people he loves. That combination makes Capricorn a natural fit.
3. Biggie — Cancer
A giant softie with an even bigger heart
Biggie might be the biggest member of the Snack Pack, but emotionally he’s one of its softest. DreamWorks describes him as someone who can burst into happy tears over touching moments or even a beautiful sunset. He also carries his pet worm, Mr. Dinkles, everywhere. Cancer energy is basically built into this Troll.
4. Barb — Scorpio
Intense, determined, and impossible to ignore
Barb has the intensity of someone who knows exactly what she wants. As the rebellious queen of rock, she wants to reshape the entire Troll world around her favorite kind of music. Her fierce attitude, determination, and commanding presence make Scorpio a fitting match.
5. Viva — Sagittarius
Adventurous, energetic, and ready for something new
Viva brings a different kind of energy to the Trolls universe. Introduced in Trolls Band Together, she becomes part of Poppy’s family story and brings her own colorful personality to the group. Her adventurous spirit and enthusiasm make Sagittarius a fun match for her character.
6. Delta Dawn — Gemini
Charming, social, and never short on personality
Delta Dawn brings a completely different kind of energy to the Trolls universe. As the leader of the Country Trolls, she is confident, outgoing, and quick to make an impression. Her social nature and expressive personality give her plenty of Gemini energy, making the sign a fun match for this colorful character.
